Logic Grid

The numbers next to each row and column give the lengths of filled runs, in order. Use them to work out which cells are filled. Every puzzle has exactly one solution reachable by logic alone.

Free in the browser, no account needed.

Rules

  1. Each number is a run of consecutive filled cells in that row or column, in order.
  2. Runs are separated by at least one empty cell.
  3. Mark cells you know are empty with a cross to keep track.
  4. The puzzle is solved when the filled cells match every clue.

How to play, step by step

  1. Read the clues. A row clue of 3 means three filled cells in a row somewhere in that line.
  2. Use overlap. A run of 3 in 4 cells must cover the middle two cells, wherever it starts.
  3. Mark empty cells. When a line is complete, cross out the rest. Crosses help other lines.

Controls

  • Click or tap to fill, drag to fill a line
  • Switch to cross mode (or right click) to mark empty cells
  • Arrow keys to move, Space to fill, X to cross
  • Z to undo, Y to redo

Difficulty and levels

Easy puzzles are 5x5, medium 10x10 and hard 15x15. Each one is checked so that it has exactly one solution and never needs guessing.
